Teebah Foundation is seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraiser Officer to support and lead fundraising activities across all of the Foundation’s projects and programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building strong relationships with donors and partners, organizing fundraising campaigns and events, and mobilizing resources to support Teebah Foundation’s work and beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support all Teebah Foundation projects and programmes.
- Identify and approach potential individual and corporate donors, sponsors, grant providers, and partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with donors, sponsors, and supporters.
- Organize and coordinate fundraising campaigns, charity events, and community outreach programmes.
- Prepare fundraising proposals, sponsorship packages, grant applications, and donor reports.
- Manage online fundraising initiatives and social media donation campaigns.
- Explore new fundraising opportunities and develop innovative approaches to generate income.
- Maintain accurate donor databases, records, and fundraising documentation.
- Collaborate with the media and communications team to promote fundraising campaigns and increase public engagement.
- Work closely with project teams to understand funding needs and develop appropriate fundraising opportunities.
- Ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance in all fundraising activities.
- Meet agreed fundraising targets and provide regular progress reports to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in fundraising, donor relations, sales, marketing, or nonprofit development.
- Proven experience in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and donor engagement activities.
- Strong understanding of fundraising strategies, donor management, sponsorship acquisition, and income generation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems for donor database management and reporting is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to prepare professional fundraising reports, proposals, grant applications, and presentations.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet fundraising targets and deadlines.
