Isla is transforming the way healthcare is delivered and we’re looking for a Partnerships lead to join our Sales team and open doors at the highest level of the NHS. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role where you’ll be responsible for generating revenue within your regional remit and contributing to strategic, business-level decisions that shape Isla’s commercial direction. You’ll own the sales process end-to-end from first contact to closing enterprise-level deals, with a focus on selling Isla’s digital solution into NHS secondary care. You’ll leverage these relationships to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and position Isla as the trusted partner for complex clinical and operational challenges. This role demands a consultative approach, the ability to navigate long sales cycles, and the commercial acumen to ensure our solutions are the right fit. You’ll have ownership of an NHS region from day one, with the potential to grow into a team leadership role as we expand. As part of our agile, VC-backed and B Corp-certified team, you’ll use your strategic sales expertise to make a lasting impact on the future of digital healthcare.

Isla Health is a venture-backed healthtech startup, supporting our partners across the UK, EU and internationally beyond this. We have built a new category of healthcare technology which we refer to as the Digital Pathway Platform (DPP). Founded in 2019, we now support 25% of NHS Trusts and see 2 million submissions on the platform every year. As a company we are all laser focused on enabling a scalable model of care which empowers healthcare staff and improves patient outcomes. The DPP supports this by setting up digital pathways which are remote-first and asynchronous. As pathways harness sophisticated automation, clinical algorithms and intelligent cohorting, patients always take the optimised route through their pathway, thereby delivering a step change in clinical productivity.

Proven results at scale:

  • 85% faster referral-to-treatment times
  • 3.8× more clinic capacity
  • 300–400% ROI guaranteed within three months

With 2M+ secure submissions to date (one every three minutes), Isla is delivering £3M+ potential annual savings per Trust, cutting 3.6M+ patient travel miles, and enabling 30% of patients to be moved to remote care.

Over the next 12 months you will:

  • Establish a repeatable process for generating new leads into the business
  • Use validated learning to help reduce our average deal duration
  • Engage prospects via phone, email, and industry events
  • Work with potential clients to understand needs and ensure strong solution fit
  • Bring energy, focus, and drive to deliver results in a fast-moving environment
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to strengthen the platform
  • Shape commercial strategy by feeding insights into business-level decision making
  • Input into company strategy and steer key decisions
  • Explore new market opportunities
  • Expand your influence and deepen relationships with NHS senior leadership
  • Run product demos and map next steps with prospects, navigating organisations to final sign-off

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven success selling digital solutions into NHS secondary care (ideally £100k+ enterprise deals)
  • An established, active network of NHS C-suite relationships
  • Energy, drive, and passion for improving healthcare
  • A track record of sales excellence, with a consultative, analytical approach
  • Confidence navigating long sales cycles and complex stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of NHS procurement, structures, and digital decision-making (Nice to have)
  • Experience selling SaaS to the NHS
