We are currently searching for an experienced regional business development manager to join an established business in the Midlands. The company specialises in waste management and processing with multiple sites around the Midlands and Staffordshire. The aim of the role is to grow new business revenue across the South working as part of a national sales team. As a business development manager you will have a consultative approach to review and create sales proposals for new business. Knowledge of the waste industry is a strong advantage to understand target markets and industries. The role will involve sales calls, pipelining as well as attending business meetings and representing the company at corporate events. We are looking to speak with new business winners who have a solid commercial knowledge. Experience within waste supply chain and waste legislation is a strong advantage. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence. New business sales Proposal and bid writing Pipelining and sales planning Waste legislation Waste supply chain The working week is Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. This is a remote role suitable for a candidate based in the South.
