ISL Technology is looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join its growing technical support team. This is a varied 1st/2nd line role supporting a diverse client base across Yorkshire, both remotely and onsite where required. You'll work across Microsoft environments, service tickets, routine maintenance and client projects, with the chance to develop your technical experience in a supportive MSP setting. Previous MSP experience would be beneficial, but strong customer-facing IT support experience will also be considered.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing support calls and service tickets
- Resolving 1st and 2nd line IT issues
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server and Windows 11
- Carrying out routine server and desktop maintenance
- Supporting client projects
- Maintaining service levels and client documentation
- Delivering clear, professional customer service
What we're looking for:
You should ideally have 3 to 4 years' experience in IT support, with the confidence to support clients professionally and solve technical issues across varied environments. Essential skills include:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Windows Server and Windows 11
- Networking fundamentals, including routers and switches
- Strong customer service skills
- Good attention to detail and organisation
Experience with Azure / Entra ID, Hyper-V, VMware, Intune, endpoint management or SharePoint would be useful.
