Climate Tech

Want to shape products that help tackle climate change? The products you’ll work on don’t just move roadmaps forward; they directly support efforts to reduce emissions, improve infrastructure safety, and help organisations transition towards net zero.

The Company: We’re working with a growing climate tech company focused on decarbonising energy through innovation. Their platform combines advanced detection technology, data analytics, and geospatial insights to help organisations better identify, prioritise, and resolve environmental and infrastructure challenges. By bringing together engineering, data science, and real-world operational insight, they’re modernising legacy systems to support a more sustainable future.

The Role: We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of a core API and platform suite used by customers to manage data, workflows, and operational processes. You’ll act as the bridge between customers, stakeholders, and development teams, translating business needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. You’ll own the backlog and roadmap, prioritising features based on business value and impact. This is a hands-on role where collaboration and clarity are key. You’ll work closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features, integrations, and continuous improvements.

What Success Looks Like:

  • A clear, outcome-driven product roadmap
  • A well-maintained backlog with development-ready user stories
  • Consistent delivery of valuable features and integrations
  • Defined product KPIs (adoption, performance, time-to-value)
  • Clear and regular stakeholder communication

Most importantly, your work will contribute to improving how organisations manage infrastructure and reduce environmental impact.

What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who enjoys ownership, thrives on collaboration, and is motivated by building products with real-world impact.

Essential:

  • Strong experience translating business and user needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Proven backlog ownership, prioritisation, and sprint planning experience
  • Confident decision-making based on business value, ROI, and data
  • Comfortable working with technical teams on APIs, data flows, and integrations
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management skills
  • Data-led mindset, using KPIs and feedback to guide decisions
  • Able to work on-site in Bristol three days per week (UK right to work required)

Desirable:

  • Appreciation for UX and customer-centred design
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and negotiating priorities
  • Background in data-heavy, infrastructure, or technical product environments
  • Leadership potential and a desire to grow with the product
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement

Why Join? You’ll be joining a purpose-driven climate tech company where product decisions directly contribute to environmental outcomes. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a core platform, work on meaningful technology, and be part of a team focused on solving real-world challenges.

You’ll also get:

  • Hybrid working with flexibility in a Bristol-based team
  • Competitive salary (up to £60,000)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension contribution scheme
  • Participation in a share scheme

If you’re a Product Owner passionate about building impactful, data-driven products, this is a great opportunity to work on technology supporting a more sustainable future.
