We’re building something special, and we want someone like you at the center of it. Our platform is used by tier-one banks, hedge funds, and trading firms to identify latency bottlenecks and other issues in high-performance electronic trading environments. Instead of throwing money and hardware at problems, our platform quickly identifies the real issues with insight only a team of trading system performance engineers and ex-technical traders can provide.
We’re now expanding, developing our Cloud/SaaS offering, and scaling globally with support from industry leaders who have already validated our product as a category leader from a technical perspective.
The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Linux Systems & Infrastructure Engineer with some exposure to capital markets. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, so you’ll need to be curious, adaptable, and ready to learn quickly. You’ll get plenty of support, but also real responsibility from day one.
You will:
- Own and evolve internal infrastructure
- Support future client deployments
- Contribute to tooling for the Cloud solution
- Work directly with highly-experienced engineers and ex-traders
- Take on real responsibility, fast
Tech you’ll work with day-to-day:
- Linux | Networking | Firewalls
- Kubernetes | Containers | Ansible
- Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Python and Shell, with exposure to GoLang & C++
- Cloud infrastructure (design, implementation & optimisation)
- Optional: AI-based tooling development
Working Style
Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office for hands-on mentorship and exposure to deep-domain knowledge. You’ll be learning from people at the bleeding edge of electronic trading systems monitoring. If you enjoy a little chaos, speed, and ownership, you’ll thrive here.
What’s in it for you?
This is a rare chance to learn from top engineers in capital markets monitoring, gaining early exposure to high-performance, real-time trading systems. You’ll work hands-on with Linux, network analysis, SQL, Python, time-series databases, and an award-winning observability platform, contributing to client POCs and live deployments. From configuring instrumentation paths and dashboards to delivering actionable insights, you’ll take ownership of meaningful work and accelerate your growth in both technical and client-facing skills.
Other benefits include:
- Up to £50,000 (BOE)
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension contribution
If you’re hungry, switched-on, and excited to build in an environment of positive chaos, we want to hear from you! Apply via this advert.
