Commercial Analyst
Who We Are
Since opening our Bristol office in 2021, we’ve grown from a £2.4m turnover in Year 1 to £7.5m in Year 4—and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for the right people to help us continue this exciting journey.
We’re not just another fire safety supplier. We’re on a mission to revolutionise the industry, ensuring full compliance, raising standards, and providing best-in-class training to contractors, consultants, and M&E specialists. Our products set the benchmark for safety, and our team is at the heart of making it happen.
What We Do
We supply fire safety ventilation products to the UK construction industry, working with specialist Ductwork and M&E contractors. Our core product range includes Fire Dampers, Smoke Control Dampers, and Control Systems, all manufactured to the highest standards in our state-of-the-art Czech facility.
Why Join Us?
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a growing company in a niche but hugely important industry. Fire safety is a critical part of construction, and this role places you at the centre of ensuring projects meet strict compliance standards.
As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll become a Mandik product specialist, working closely with clients to understand their projects and recommend the right products to ensure full legal compliance. You’ll then estimate project costs based on your recommendations, helping clients achieve both safety and efficiency. This role requires a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Becoming a trusted expert on Mandik’s product range and compliance standards.
- Engaging with clients to understand project requirements and recommending suitable products.
- Ensuring all product selections align with legal and safety compliance regulations.
- Preparing detailed estimates and quotations based on product recommendations.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients as a key point of contact.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing and interpreting data in Excel and other technical platforms to produce accurate costings.
What We’re Looking For
We’re not just looking for experience—we’re looking for potential. If you have a technical mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for accuracy, we can teach you the rest.
- Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is crucial.
- Confident communicator – both written and verbal.
- Strong Excel & data management skills – most of your work will involve these platforms.
- A proactive problem-solver – always looking for solutions.
- Ability to work independently – taking ownership of your projects.
- Understanding of compliance and industry regulations.
- Passion for fire safety – this is more than just a job; it’s a responsibility.
Desirable (but not essential!):
- Experience in estimating within construction, M&E, or engineering.
- Ability to read specifications & tender documents.
- Knowledge of fire dampers, smoke control dampers, or control panels.
What’s in It for You?
- Up to £40k (BOE) + performance-based annual bonus
- Matched pension contributions up to 6%
- Formal training and career development opportunities
- Opportunities to visit our Czech manufacturing facility
- Great office location in Aztec West with free parking
- Company laptop & supportive working environment
- The chance to be part of an ambitious, growing team
