A Sous Chef is required for a family-run hotel in the Scottish Highlands; they are careful custodians. Nature led; they move with the seasons. Become a part of this historic story that began back in 1869.

Reporting to Head Chef:

  • Responsible for leading the whole team, controlling orders and stock, overseeing the overall kitchen standards and team knowledge of dishes and ingredients.

Your Purpose:

  • Help lead and nurture the dynamic team by producing some incredible seasonally inspired dishes to wow our discerning guests and 100k Instagram followers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On a daily basis, carefully direct and support the team, on each section and with their ordering and stock control.
  • Conduct the morning meeting and communicate effectively with each team member.
  • Exemplary knowledge of dishes, cooking and presentation on all sections.
