As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen, overseeing the preparation and cooking of dishes to a high standard.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, and will be expected to lead by example, setting high standards for the team to follow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Managing and training junior members of the kitchen team
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Ensuring all food is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with the Head Chef and front of house staff
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen
- A strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
