Senior Technical & Quality Assurance Analyst
The team handles complaints and errors within Operations, providing expert advice and leading improvement activities by identifying technical issues and good practices.
The team reports to the Head of Technical & Quality Assurance and supports operational teams and senior managers.
Role and Responsibilities
The main duties include:
- Complaint and error handling.
- Assisting with audits for ISO, AAF, and PASA accreditations.
- Conducting internal quality assurance audits and reviewing samples against standards.
- Implementing process improvements based on measures and indicators.
- Ensuring technical standards are communicated and implemented timely.
Complaints and Errors
- Handling and analyzing complaints/errors, writing responses, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
- Monitoring logs and working with teams to resolve issues.
- Liaising with Risk and Operational teams on liability and reputational risks.
Audit
- Supporting audits for AAF, ISO, PASA.
- Implementing audit improvements.
- Performing the Quality Manager role within ISO QMS.
Quality Assurance
- Developing measures and indicators to ensure standards and legislative requirements are met.
- Conducting regular audits and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reporting audit results to senior management.
Process / Best Practice
- Developing and implementing processes and procedures.
- Training teams on standards and requirements.
- Maintaining communication templates and member web content.
Technical
- Communicating technical and regulatory changes.
- Supporting meetings with technical guidance.
- Providing updates on projects and technical queries.
- Managing technical inquiries and updating procedures.
Experience and Competencies Required
The ideal candidate has experience in the Third-Party Administration sector, with strong communication and numerical skills. They should be team-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Required experience includes:
- Several years of administration services for Defined Benefit pension schemes.
- Desire to improve standards and procedures.
- Experience in complaint handling, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Technical and legislative knowledge impacting operational teams.

- A-Level or equivalent qualification.
