Solutions Project Manager
The Solutions Project Manager oversees the delivery and support of projects within the Transformation programme, using Isio’s project management processes and standards.
Role Overview
This role requires pensions experience and practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
It can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, London, or Belfast city centre offices with a hybrid workstyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver workstreams on time, scope and budget using Agile/Waterfall approaches.
- Manage the full project life cycle, including set‑up, planning, progress reporting, stakeholder liaison, project control and close.
- Coordinate vendor and business tasks to meet weekly deliverables and keep the project on track.
- Run daily stand‑ups, identify blockers, and own issues to ensure they are resolved.
- Deliver multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously.
- Maintain detailed project plans in JIRA.
- Track and mitigate scope, milestones and deliverables.
- Map and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Document, follow, measure and report on key processes regularly.
- Identify and capture risks and issues, then mitigate or escalate as appropriate.
- Manage and track the budget to ensure projects remain within approved funds.
- Share project management best practices to continually improve Isio’s framework.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with UK pensions.
- Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently.
- Proficiency in JIRA for planning and tracking.
- Track record of delivering projects within scope, time and budget.
