The PMO Support role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of a business project, working closely alongside the TMG (Technical Model Group) team and Project Manager. The PSO organises the planning and execution of a project which includes scheduling tasks, risk and progress management, liaising with stakeholders, as well as monitoring finances and controlling budgets.
A PSO acts as the driving force and has a direct impact on the efficiency and overall success of the project. This requires excellent communication, organisational skills, logical thinking and problem solving.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Proven ability and experience of project support including:
- Administrative & Logistical Support: Schedule meetings, track deadlines, and coordinate resources across cross-functional teams (e.g., project, development, TMG and business).
- Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in delivering projects as well as the Technical Model Group (TMG) Team. Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with Isio's financial and regulatory standards.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks. Prepare progress reports for senior leadership, highlighting risks (e.g., regulatory changes, investment volatility).
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, developers, and third-party vendors. Draft client communications (e.g., updates on projects). Identify and escalate project risks (e.g., data security issues, delays in projects, inter-dependencies). Support audits and quality assurance processes.
- Organisational & Documentation: Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and cross-team coordination.
- Compliance & Risk: Prepare reports, adhere to governance, identify/escalate risks (e.g., delays, security).
- Stakeholder Liaison: Bridge teams/vendors, draft client updates.

This role is based in our Birmingham office. We work on a hybrid basis, offering the opportunity for colleagues to split their time between working in the office and at home, with an expectation of 2 -3 days in the office.
