We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Platform Configuration & QA Specialist to support the build and configuration of Isio’s flexible benefits platform. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in the flexible benefits technology industry, who enjoys solving complex problems, enhancing system functionality, delighting clients and delivering a seamless employee experience.
Platform Build, Configuration & Quality Assurance
- Configure and maintain client benefits platforms, including eligibility rules, benefit calculations, rates, interfaces, reports and communication settings.
- Support annual cycle activities such as scheme updates, renewals and enrolment window configuration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and benefit providers to ensure accurate setup and data flows.
- Use HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript to configure and maintain content pages, forms and user journeys where required.
- Support the integration of benefits platforms with internal HRIS, provider and payroll systems.
- Produce clear documentation, workflows and configuration logs.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor platform performance and proactively identify opportunities for enhancement or process improvement.
Stakeholder Support
- Supports the administration team with any queries or issues including troubleshooting, data uploads, provider and payroll reporting, testing and issue resolution.
- Support internal resources including Client Implementation Managers, Consultants and adjacent teams such as Administration, Helpdesk and Broking.
- Proactively communicate with relevant client stakeholders or external partners and providers to ensure integration projects and the overall platform experience is effective.
- Provide training or guidance to HR colleagues on system features or processes.
- Work closely with external suppliers to manage incidents, releases and upgrades.
What we’re looking for?
Skills
- 2+ years’ experience working with flexible benefits or equivalent platforms (e.g. Darwin, Benifex, Thanks Ben, Zellis, Aon TBS).
- Strong understanding of benefit schemes, enrolment cycles and core configuration concepts.
- Practical experience using HTML and CSS; familiarity with JavaScript for light scripting or UI adjustments.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel for data comparison such as VLOOKUP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of data security and GDPR requirements.
- Confidence running UAT cycles and coordinating issue resolution.
