This is an exciting opportunity to join Isio’s fast growing Employee Benefits business, which spans strategic benefit design, workplace health & wellbeing consulting, DC pensions, benefits technology and employee engagement & support. Within the Workplace Health & Wellbeing team, we are seeking an experienced Consultant to lead client relationships and drive business development across a portfolio of risk and health clients.
What does the role entail? The Senior Consultant will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of clients, providing strategic direction and expert consulting advice across risk and health products.
- Provide strategic consulting and advisory services to a portfolio of health and/or risk clients, including large and complex schemes.
- Maintain and build long‑term client relationships, driving service improvement, renewal and retention of existing accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities, participating in tender responses and prospect presentations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of client requirements to produce high quality written reports outlining findings, recommendations, and coverage specifications.
- Aim to introduce employee benefit schemes in line with clients’ reward strategies.
- Oversee management of the renewal and broking cycle, ensuring all arrangements, documentation and regulatory requirements are delivered.
- Maintain deep working knowledge of the health and risk market, latest market trends, emerging regulation and legislation, and excellent relationships with relevant providers.
- Collaborate across the Employee Benefits business to provide a holistic approach to wellbeing for Isio clients.
- Participate as a subject matter expert to deliver innovative and impactful Thought Leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience within the Health & Wellbeing industry is mandatory, with capabilities across both risk and healthcare markets preferred.
- Previous experience working within a large, well‑established, client‑facing consulting or advisory organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience of successfully growing revenue over a sustained period.
- Collaborative team player with a commitment to mentoring, supporting colleagues and contributing to team development.
- CII Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) or progress towards CII Diploma / Advanced Diploma (Dip CII / ACII).
