DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - 12 months fixed term contract A DevOps engineer is a senior technical role within our organisation. They design and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure environments, and support with application maintenance. Working within the Microsoft ecosystem, this role involves collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and business change to ensure solutions are provisioned to the required specifications, whilst also being mindful of broader strategic initiatives. This role will also involve guiding developers through technical decisions and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Although this position encompasses many aspects, this role requires being hands‑on day to day to ensure project delivery and technical excellence. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to broaden their career, being in an autonomous role whilst still working from the front line. This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months, based in our Birmingham city centre office with a hybrid workstyle. There will be occasional travel to other offices. What does the role entail? Supporting Isio’s broader development strategy, with a particular focus on infrastructure delivery and documentation.
