We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to provide comprehensive support to the Consultants in our Croydon Office, managing client relationships, submitting new business, policy servicing and Client Reviews. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage their administration workflow
- Receive and implement requests from Consultants and Paraplanners
- Upload fact find information to the client management system (Intelliflo)
- Obtain policy information and valuations, maintain on Intelliflo
- Managing and dealing with daily post as directed.
- Process all new business and client correspondence
- Check all compliance data is present
- Track applications to completion
- Ensure any deadlines given by consultants/providers are met
- Maintain up to date client files
- Remuneration monitoring and correct payment and allocation to consultant
- Establish and build relationships with clients and providers
- Assist consultants in pre-meeting preparation and annual reviews
- Register and utilise appropriate extranet/websites and other forms of e-business
- Cash Balance Monitoring
- Operate within the compliance and corporate standards of the business
- Consistently implement and review processes
- Undertake appropriate professional development and training
- Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act , the FSA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice and the relevant FSA rules at all times.
- Comply with the relevant Compliance, T&C and anti-Money Laundering Procedures of the firm at all times.
- Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative or technical changes
Experience and Competencies Required
- 1+ year experience in an IFA environment
- Previous experience processing business
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Interpersonal β team working and communicating with clients
- Proactive, willing to continue to develop, enthusiastic
- Highly organised, methodical, disciplined and meticulous
- Good organisational, time management skills and effective workload management.
- Ability to prioritise and deal with pressure
