The Solutions Project Manager oversees the delivery and support of the projects within the Transformation programme using Isio's project management processes and standards. The role requires pensions experience and practical knowledge of project delivery using Agile and Waterfall processes to deliver outputs to internal sponsors across the business. This role can be based in our Birmingham, Bristol, London or Belfast city centre office with a hybrid workstyle.

What does the role entail?

  • Delivering workstreams on time, scope and budget using Agile/Waterfall approaches.
  • Management of the full project life cycle, including set-up, planning, progress reporting to key stakeholders, liaison with multiple stakeholders and third parties, project control and project close.
  • Manage a variety of business and vendor tasks to weekly deliverables to keep the project on track.
  • Run the daily stand-ups as required, establish if there are any 'blockers' and take ownership of issues to get these 'unblocked'.
  • Multiple projects/workstreams delivered simultaneously.
  • Using detailed project plans using JIRA.
  • Planning, tracking and mitigation management of scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder mapping and management of plans.
  • Ensure key processes are documented, followed, measured, and reported on a regular basis.
  • Identify and capture risks and issues, then mitigate or escalate as appropriate.
  • Budget management and tracking to ensure project remains within approved budget.
  • Sharing project management best practices and processes to continually develop and improve Isio's project management framework.
