We’re growing and want you to be a part of our journey. The Product Project Manager oversees the delivery and support of the GMPe workstream using Isio’s project management processes and standards. The role requires practical knowledge of project delivery using Agile and Waterfall processes to deliver outputs to internal sponsors across the business.

Location – This role would be preferably based in our London office but our GMPe team are located nationwide, therefore we are also able to consider those who may be based in our Reading, Croydon, Bristol or Birmingham office. Hybrid working 2-3 days per week on site. Term – 12 month FTC, immediate start.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Delivering workstreams on time, scope and budget using Agile/Waterfall approaches.
  • Management of the full project life cycle, including set‑up, planning, progress reporting to key stakeholders, liaison with multiple stakeholders and third parties, project control and project close.
  • Manage a variety of business and vendor tasks to weekly deliverables to keep the project on track.
  • Run the daily stand‑ups as required, establish if there are any ‘blockers’ and take ownership of issues to get these ‘unblocked’.
  • Using detailed project plans using JIRA.
  • Planning, tracking and mitigation management of scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder mapping and management of plans.
  • Ensure key processes are documented, followed, measured, and reported on a regular basis.
  • Identify and capture risks and issues, then mitigate or escalate as appropriate.
  • Budget management and tracking to ensure project remains within approved budget.
  • Sharing project management best practices and processes to continually develop and improve Isio’s project management framework.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Basic knowledge of software development cycles (if managing tech projects).
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, developers, actuaries, and senior leadership.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Problem‑Solving & Adaptability: Ability to pivot in fast‑paced environments (e.g., regulatory changes, client demands).
  • Significant years in Project/Product Management: Preferably in financial services, consulting, or tech‑driven sectors.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Managed teams of developers, designers, analysts, or actuaries.
  • Experience in client‑facing roles (e.g., managing stakeholder expectations).
  • Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum.
  • Accountable: Takes full ownership of outcomes, not just processes – ensures commitments are delivered.
  • Strategic yet hands‑on: Balances long‑term portfolio governance with operational delivery leadership.
  • Influential: Builds trust and confidence across senior stakeholders through credibility and transparency.
