Within our Employee Benefits business, our dedicated Defined Contribution specialism offers full DC consulting services to corporate clients, trusts and Master Trusts. Our DC team has grown significantly over the last few years and is a key growth area for Isio due to the increasing demand for DC and wider Employee Benefits support market. We are looking for individuals with excellent consulting skills, strong DC pensions technical skills and market knowledge, a commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Whilst the role is primarily to deliver quality advice and support to our DC clients, there is also an opportunity to be involved in business development, modelling and research and internal functions to suit candidates strengths and previous experience.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThis role requires consultants to produce high quality deliverables addressing key client issues including:
- Pension provider reviews, analysis of tender responses and drafting of high quality summaries and reports.
- Cost benefit analysis for companies and/or trustees when they are considering changing pension vehicle/structure.
- Support with client benefit strategy, including technology, benefit reviews and benchmarking.
- Member communication materials working in conjunction with senior colleagues, clients, providers and other third parties.
- Provider proposition research and future developments across the market.
- Regular trustee reporting and Governance committee materials.
We will entrust you to:
- Effectively delegate and review work produced by junior colleagues, ensuring it is technically excellent.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings including presenting advice.
- Take responsibility for and manage small projects, including scoping and invoicing.
- Manage your own time effectively to consistently meet all deadlines.
- Regularly monitor all aspects of risk compliance.
- Help with identifying and researching business opportunities.
- Share knowledge with colleagues throughout the department.
- Support with wider reward and benefits consulting projects.
Good understanding of the UK DC pensions and/or Reward landscape and the issues facing our clients, this will likely come from a number of years of relevant work experience in this market in a similar role. Organised and able to prioritise your own tasks and manage small projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work effectively in a team. Consistently able to work at a high level of intensity whilst maintaining a professional and positive approach. Proactive and commercial mindset. Willingness to contribute to the development of others. Whilst a specific qualification is not an essential requirement for this role, Isio will provide ongoing study support for those pursuing the CFA, PMI or CII exams.
