The Pensions Implementation Project Support role is to support the Implementation Project Management team in the onboarding of new schemes and managing the process of transitioning the scheme into the "business as usual" ("BAU") administration teams, including the set-up of administration operational functions. Successful implementations are critical for enabling the BAU teams to provide efficient and accurate BAU service at Go‑Live dates. The successful candidate will report to the Project Implementation Lead within the Implementations team. The Implementations team is a national team and part of the Client Onboarding and Change function which sits within the Administration service line.

The candidate will liaise with various internal key stakeholders, including the Administration, Accounts, Payroll and Systems teams, as well as liaising with the incumbent administrators. This role can be based in our Birmingham, Reading, Manchester, Croydon, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Belfast office with a hybrid workstyle.

What does the role entail?

  • Drafting of data and documentation requests
  • Attendance at team, incumbent and trustee meetings (if applicable) to prepare minutes and take forward actions
  • Drafting of communications to members and all other parties associated with the scheme
  • Set‑up of phone line, email inbox, letters
  • Involvement in handover of schemes to Admin BAU team
  • Liaising with incumbent administrators and internal stakeholders
