We're looking for a commercially driven Pensions Growth Leader, to help accelerate growth across our pensions actuarial & consulting offering. This is a high-impact, market-facing role for someone who thrives on winning new business, shaping strategy, and building lasting client relationships. Whether you come from a Scheme Actuary, Corporate Pensions or Pensions Consulting background, this role offers the opportunity to take real ownership, bring clarity to complex challenges, and make a visible mark in the market.

At Isio, we combine clarity, confidence and better outcomes for our clients with a culture that supports innovation, flexibility and personal development. You'll have the freedom to create and lead with autonomy, supported by a collaborative and inclusive culture where your contribution is recognised and valued. We prioritise flexibility and wellbeing, ensuring sustainable performance, while offering meaningful opportunities to shape the business and influence our growth.

Predominantly based in our London team, this role provides strong market presence and real opportunity for expansion - giving you the scope to build your profile, develop relationships and drive impact. In return, we are looking for individuals who bring energy, accountability and purpose to their work - people who are curious, take pride in what they do, and are committed to continuous improvement.

The role can be shaped to reflect the experience and influence of the individual, with scope for significant leadership and market impact aligned to your specific stage in your career. If you're a well-networked pensions professional who enjoys building relationships, winning work and shaping strategy - and you're looking for a role where you can truly make your mark - this could be the ideal next step.

Responsibilities & Scope
  • Win new business and grow market share: Take a leading role in originating and converting opportunities across the pensions landscape; build and leverage a strong professional network to identify, develop and secure new clients.
  • Build and lead client relationships: Act as a trusted adviser to clients (trustee or corporate), managing strategic relationships and delivering high-quality advice across a range of schemes and complexities.
  • Shape propositions and go-to-market strategy: Contribute to - and lead where appropriate - the development of new ideas, propositions and market messaging; bring fresh thinking and help position us competitively in the market.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across service lines to deliver cohesive, high-impact client solutions and maximise opportunities within existing relationships.
  • Play a key role in business growth: Support ambitious growth plans by feeding into strategic direction and helping articulate a compelling, consistent story to the market and future talent.
  • Lead with influence: Provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to colleagues, contributing to a supportive, high-performing and inclusive culture where people can thrive.
  • Operate with autonomy: This is a role with real freedom and limited red tape - you'll have the scope to shape your own approach, build your client base and influence how we grow.
Required Competencies & Experience
  • A proven track record of winning new business within the pensions industry.
  • A strong DB Pensions market profile and network across trustees, corporates and/or key intermediaries.
  • Experience as a Scheme Actuary, Corporate Pensions Actuary, or Pensions Consultant (practising certificate welcome but not essential).
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management, including leading or developing key accounts.
  • Experience contributing to propositions, pitches and strategic growth initiatives.
  • A commercial mindset with the drive to grow revenue and expand market presence.
  • Curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to identify and shape opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Leadership capability, with a passion for developing others and building an inclusive team environment.

Isio Group is an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. If you think you may require a reasonable adjustment to be made for any reason at any stage of your recruitment process, please ask us.
