Role Title: 2026 Actuarial & Consulting Graduate Analyst Programme, Croydon
Location: Croydon
Length of programme: Around 3 years to achieve your relevant professional qualification, however you are employed on a permanent basis from the start of your graduate role.
Entry requirements
- To apply for this role you need to have completed an undergraduate degree or higher level qualification by 1 September 2026 and have achieved a 2.1 or higher. If you are in your final year of university study, we are looking for those on track to achieve this.
- We are open to applications from those studying any subject. Studying towards the actuarial exams will require strong mathematical skills and a keen interest in financial concepts.
- If you have studied a non-numerical degree subject, we will require you to have obtained a Maths A-level at B or higher or within an equivalent qualification.

Role and responsibilities
What you will be doing as an Actuarial & Consulting Graduate Analyst:
- Apply actuarial skills to calculate the value of pension and other benefits for employers and trustees
- Conduct financial modelling and risk analysis to understand future pension obligations and risks
- Advise clients on pensions strategy and risk management, both day-to-day and for long-term objectives
- Design and implement employee communication programmes
- Help clients understand and manage accounting, tax and legislative changes affecting pension schemes
- Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities
- Attend client meetings and explain the team’s work
Training and development
You’ll receive a range of training and study support to become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, including:
- On-the-job training and a graduate induction
- Technical and professional skills training on a national basis
- Regular technical training and broader market knowledge development
- A buddy from day one and a Performance Manager to support progress
