Reporting directly to the Head of Production, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects of medium to high complexity. The role requires excellent organisation and ability to prioritise effectively to deliver in line with customer expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
As a Production Project Manager, you will need to have a good technical and practical understanding of manufacturing and materials. Flexibility to manage and adapt to fast-paced changes and deadlines is essential. A good eye for detail is necessary to ensure quality control of supplier goods meets specifications and is fit for purpose. Understanding of sustainable materials and production processes is important.
Ability to follow standard processes and identify potential issues, understanding when to escalate is required. Leading programme management, reporting and risk management, with a proactive approach to finding solutions and making decisions is key.
Role Responsibilities:- Managing your own time, working collaboratively with key business users.
- Co-ordinating, administering and activating production projects, with a focus on quality.
- Collaborating with external suppliers, partners and internal colleagues, delivering quick effective communication at all times.
- Able to identify and eradicate risks on a project ensuring that key priorities are dealt with in the most practical order.
- Overseeing daily quality control (QC) compliance, reacting quickly to any obstacles and challenges.
- Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the industry and competitive environment.
- Responsible for creating suppliers POs and handling commercials such as budget management.
- Analysing project progress and, when necessary, adapting scope/timelines and costs.
- Producing quality check reports (internal and external).
- Demonstrating resilience and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Proficient planning, diary management and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence and ability to build relationships.
- A background in the retail display/POP industry.
- Excellent communication skills and being highly organised.
