ISHPI is seeking a Systems Integration Test Engineer (on-site) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing and supporting installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various systems.
  • Providing organizational, intermediate, and depot level troubleshooting and support of fielded systems.
  • Providing training to Government personnel and junior technicians.
  • Providing technical support in the form of reading system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals.
  • Conducting performance measurement activities and reporting findings to Government representatives.
  • Providing oral, written, on-site, or other troubleshooting assistance.
  • Assisting in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical documentation, instructions, procedures, and staging lists.
  • Interfacing and coordinating with Government personnel, subcontractors, or other vendor personnel to arrange diagnostics, repairs, and order and manage parts.
  • Providing supply level support by documenting and communicating results to Government representatives.
  • Assisting Government personnel in conferences, meetings, or other problem-solving situations.

Education and Experience Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in the field of Electronics Engineering Technology or Information Technology and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the field of C4IT/Systems Engineering.

Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.
