About the Company An innovative international technology company is expanding its software engineering team and is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to help build and scale automated testing solutions for complex software platforms.

About the Role You will play a key role in improving automation frameworks, integrating testing into development workflows, and ensuring software quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks to support high-quality software delivery.
Integrate automated testing into modern CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with software engineers, QA specialists, and product teams to define testing strategies.
Perform manual validation when required and convert repeatable test scenarios into automated test suites.
Investigate, debug, and resolve issues affecting automated test execution.
Continuously improve test coverage, execution performance, and framework reliability.
Promote software quality best practices across engineering teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a quality-first engineering culture.
Provide technical guidance and mentor engineers on automation best practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
At least 7 years of experience in software test automation.
Required Skills Strong experience automating backend, API, and UI testing.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages
Java Python C#Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or similar.
Experience working within Agile software development environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery practices.
Preferred Skills Experience mentoring or coaching engineering teams.
Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Linux administration or development experience.
Familiarity with distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
