As part of their growth, we are looking to recruit an RF Engineering professional with embedded software plus analog and digital hardware experience.
The Role
- Design Advanced RF Systems: Create RF frontends for remote 5G applications, ensuring they meet high-performance standards.
- Oversee all aspects of RF systems design, including developing specifications, selecting components, implementing designs, and verifying performance.
- Lead technical reviews with key stakeholders to evaluate system and RF design strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware-software interfaces.
- Establish antenna-RF specifications, interfaces, and verification procedures.
- Oversee the integration and validation process, contribute to RF-related activities to ensure successful implementation.
- On site field RF planning and attending demonstration and trials as necessary.
- Build prototypes of RF systems.
You will have experience/exposure to a majority of the following:
- Proven experience in a RF design engineer role.
- Proven experience in PCB design.
- Previous use of schematic capture packages (KiCAD/Altium or similar).
- Experience testing at circuit board and system level (e.g., board bring-up and debug, EMC testing).
- Proven experience in digital and analog electronics.
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages (C/C++/Python).
- Experience of embedded software.
