Your new role
As a Principal Arboricultural Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering complex and high‑profile projects across the UK. You'll undertake BS5837:2012 surveys, produce and quality‑assure reports, carry out tree hazard assessments (PTI/QTRA), and help develop arboricultural services for new and existing clients. You will also mentor and support junior consultants within the team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in arboriculture or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in tree surveying and BS5837:2012 reporting
- Proven consultancy experience at senior level or above, ideally with mentoring responsibilities
- Professional Tree Inspector (PTI) certificate
- Strong communication skills to build client relationships
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of ArcGIS and CAD packages
- Training in tree risk assessment methods (VALID, QTRA, TRAQ) is desirable.
