The Verdancy Group are a leading provider of green skills training and sustainability consultancy. It’s passionate about improving the environment, supporting the UK’s net zero targets, and helping people develop meaningful careers in clean energy and sustainability.

The Verdancy Group is building a UK-wide network of talented associate trainers and assessors to support the delivery of our electrical and low-carbon training and advisory programmes. If you’re a qualified electrician with technical know-how and a passion for teaching or assessing others, we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome professionals with teaching or mentoring experience and deep technical expertise in Solar PV, EV Charging, Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) and related low-carbon technologies, who are motivated to play a key role in the UK’s green skills transition.

This role could be a great fit if you:

We’re particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:

  • Delivering or assessing vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQs, EWPA, SCQF, NOCN)
  • Solar PV installation and design
  • EV charging infrastructure
  • Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS)
  • Low-carbon electrical and building services systems
  • Working with learners across a range of abilities and experience levels

You’ll need:

  • A recognised teaching or assessor qualification (e.g. A1, L&D9DI, PTLLS or equivalent) – or a willingness to work towards it
  • Substantial industry experience in electrotechnical or low-carbon systems
  • Current qualification in electrical installation regulations (e.g. C&G 2382)
  • Qualifications in inspection, testing, condition reporting, and certification (e.g. C&G 2391)
  • A commitment to learner success and quality delivery
  • Flexibility to support remote, hybrid, or in-person programmes depending on need
