Your new role involves leading and delivering air quality projects for a diverse range of clients. You will work on a large variety of projects including renewables, data centres, infrastructure, and MOD across the UK and internationally. This role is split between working from an office (London, Birmingham or Manchester) and working from home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and managing air quality projects as part of multi-disciplinary teams or standalone assignments
- Supporting service line leaders and assisting in business development activities
- Preparing technical proposals and contributing to winning new work
- Keeping up to date with regulations, standards, and best practice in air quality assessments
- Mentoring more junior members of the team
- Helping to develop tools/techniques to improve service delivery
- Representing the organisation at external meetings and presentations
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in an air quality role delivering assessments
- Experience across a range of projects
- Strong technical skills in air dispersion modelling (e.g., ADMS, ADMS-Roads, AERMOD) and GIS applications
- In-depth understanding of UK air quality legislation for planning and permitting
- Ability to interpret environmental guidelines and provide practical solutions
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage workloads independently
- Full membership of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM)
