Entry requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science.
- Minimum 2:2 in your degree.
- Graduate between 2023 and 2026.
- British Citizen, SC clearance required.
- Expected to join in September 2026.
What to Expect on the Programme
The Evolve Science programme provides rotational placements across AWE, deep technical skill development, leadership and resilience training, and support for professional registration relevant to your role.
- Supporting assessment of the UK\’s nuclear deterrent.
- Engaging in cutting‑edge research in nuclear forensics, quantum computing and analytical chemistry.
- Working with supercomputing capability to develop sophisticated models.
- Interfacing with international scientists on shared projects.
- Hands‑on laboratory work developing new materials and equipment.
- Adding value to projects within the Nuclear Threat Reduction programme.
- Working alongside world‑leading experts to overcome scientific challenges.
