Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves a fast-paced environment, and is always ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in? Do you enjoy meeting new people, answering the phone with a smile, and making sure everyone’s day runs smoothly? We’re looking for a friendly, proactive individual to join a dynamic team on a repeat temporary basis, supporting a diverse range of professionals from analysts to MDs.
This is a key role where no job is too small, and you'll be integral in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, with plenty of room to make your mark. Whether it's answering the phone, greeting guests with a warm welcome, or ensuring the meeting rooms are set up and ready for action – your "can-do" attitude and attention to detail will be essential. You will be sat in the open plan offices, and work alongside the Senior EAs to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Your main duties will include:
- Answering the phone, managing inquiries, and directing calls efficiently
- Meeting and greeting guests, providing a warm and professional first impression
- Managing the meeting rooms – ensuring they’re prepared and equipped for every session, and coordinating bookings
- Assisting with office logistics, ensuring everything is running smoothly day to day
- Providing administrative support to investment teams, including diary management, travel arrangements, and managing expenses
- Handling ad hoc tasks as required – no two days will be the same!
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves variety and the satisfaction of a job well done. You'll be a real team player, offering support to all levels, from analysts to MDs, ensuring everyone has what they need to do their best work.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Be the face of the office, always greeting visitors and colleagues with a positive attitude
- Answer the phones and direct calls with confidence and professionalism
- Stay organised, juggling multiple tasks at once, from meeting room schedules to managing day-to-day office operations
- Provide strong support in a busy office environment, staying calm under pressure and managing conflicting priorities
- Have assistant experience within Private Equity, or a similarly demanding environment, which is non-negotiable here, and having worked as a temp is highly beneficial.
You’ll be joining a team of friendly, dedicated professionals & EAs, where no task is too big or too small, and will play a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently, while permanent staff take leave, or deal with excessive workloads. If you have experience with diary and travel management, and you’re ready to take on a variety of tasks with a smile, we want to hear from you! This offers great exposure within a leading company, with the chance to develop valuable skills while keeping everything ticking along in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Please note, we’re looking for someone with strong availability that is happy being in the office 5 days a week.
