We are seeking a motivated business/finance/economics graduate with a genuine interest in the alternative investment sector, to join a leading asset management firm with offices across the globe. In this role you will support the Chief Investment Officer as the Executive Team Assistant, with wider investment administration support to the office. This role is best suited to someone with natural and strong administrative, process, and problem-solving skills. Role Overview: Working in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment, this is a critical role that supports the Chief Investment Officer with calendar and travel management and implementation of administrative solutions across the team. You must be dynamic and confident in your ability to work proactively, exercise a high level of common sense, and be able to comfortably manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful execution of various operational initiatives, including projects, and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide diary, calendar, and meeting management for the CIO.
- Make travel arrangements (domestic & international), including flight reservations, hotel accommodations, car service, etc for the CIO and team on a need basis.
- Organise meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including pre-meeting preparation, presentations and providing follow-up support.
- Work alongside the Receptionist/Office Administrator to coordinate and manage meeting room bookings, client and networking event coordination, and front-of-house when needed.
- Working closely with the Finance and HR leads on ad-hoc projects, including on-boarding new starters, H&S and off-site planning.
- Liaise with the Singapore office to ensure synchronisation of process and procedure.
- Continuously identify opportunities for enhancing service/product delivery and client service quality.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards contributing ideas and continuous operational improvement for the CIO and London office.
Candidate Essentials:
- Business, Economics or Finance graduate with at least 1 – 2 years’ office work experience within a corporate environment.
- Highly organised, with a high level of data and technical literacy and comprehension.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- A self-starter with a natural curiosity and interest in contributing to overall company success.
- Able to manage conflicting priorities and work in a fast-changing and fluid environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise with all levels with confidence and professionalism.
- Someone who is a team player, who is focused on driving the efficiency of the team and maintains a positive attitude towards their work.
