We're looking for an agile, confident and experienced EA with previous exposure to the private equity or venture capital sector to take up an exciting new role at the London outfit of a global private equity firm!

In addition to supporting at senior level, you will also play a key role in keeping the London office (team of 14 currently) running optimally from an operations and culture perspective. It’s essential that you’ve had exposure at some point in your career to a small, innovative office environment and are willing to wear multiple hats in pursuit of organisational and operational excellence. A readiness to muck-in, roll up the sleeves and be a driving force behind how things get done in the London office will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level scheduling and travel coordination to several senior individuals, including the Founding MD of the London office and the Operating Partner. Additional administrative support to VP/Principals as required.
  • Organise and support meetings, investor calls, and off-site events (e.g., board meetings, conferences, and summits), preparing presentations, reports or correspondence wherever needed
  • Serve as conduit between executives and key internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio company leadership, investors and US headquarters
  • Track and process expenses, invoices, and reimbursement
  • Support special projects and firm-wide initiatives as needed
  • Support with interview coordination and on-boarding new team members, coordinating with US-based Human Resources where required
  • Assist with key, whole-company events and initiatives as the London office representative
  • Planning team socials and activities throughout the year, including celebrations and off-sites. Coordinating with US office on any company-wide activities.
  • With the support of London Receptionist, overseeing facilities matters including liaison with IT, supplier management, equipment ordering and liaison with building management where necessary.

Key Qualities:

  • Prior exposure to private equity or venture capital, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Agile work style, with ability to problem-solve and take on additional responsibilities in line with priorities of the London office team
  • Proactive, collaborative and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Professional, positive, and composed under pressure, with a high level of discretion and sound judgement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the firm and with external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through, ensuring accuracy and quality across all tasks
  • “Can-do” attitude and willingness to go the extra mile; contributing positively to firm culture
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
