Job Description
We are seeking an immediately available, exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level, strategic and operational support to the Group Chief Financial Officer of a major publicly listed company. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, ideal for a highly professional, discreet, and proactive individual with a strong sense of initiative and a deep understanding of the demands at C-suite level.
As the organisational right hand to the CFO and working in harmony with the Chief of Staff, you'll be a key enabler in ensuring that the CFO's time is optimised, priorities are met, and critical internal and external relationships are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Provide comprehensive diary and inbox management, prioritising meetings, communications and deadlines in line with strategic objectives.
- Meeting and Event Coordination: Organise and prepare for internal and external meetings both cyclical/pre-planned and short-notice/reactive, including compiling briefings, agendas, minutes, and presentations, venue selection and working with a wide variety of third parties to ensure seamless event execution.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Working closely with the Chief of Staff, act as the primary point of contact between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders including Board members, investors, auditors, and senior leadership.
- Travel Management: Plan and manage complex global travel itineraries and logistics, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
- Project and documenation support: Assist with or manage ad hoc projects on behalf of the CFO, working closely with teams across the Finance function globally and different business operating divisions
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes and communication workflows to ensure effectiveness at the executive level.
About You
- Proven experience as an EA at C-suite level within a Plc structure
- Ideally educated to degree elevel or equivalent
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to truly business partner with your executive and build trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technologically savvy – comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and other productivity tools.
- Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential matters with integrity.
