Description: The AV Service Engineer will successfully provide on-site service of audio/visual equipment to our Clients. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting/problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all AV solutions. Ideally, we are looking for candidates living/located along the M3/M4 corridor for commuting within the South East and London.
Qualifications:
- A keen interest in audio-visual products and fault finding
- A knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) Systems and AV/IT Integration is an advantage (Head Office and on-site training will be provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications in AV/IT technology are a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Attend all service calls within the client Service Level Agreement
- Repair/test and recommend products that require replacing at clients’ sites in order to get their systems working
- Report and provide information to Head Office to close the call with a satisfactory outcome to the Client
- Maintain the correct level of buffer stock at all times
- Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and small installation projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Valid Passport with no travel restrictions
- Clean Driving license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate scheduled deadlines
- A-Level or BTEC qualifications
- Degree level/equivalent experience in a relevant field e.g. sound engineering
