Senior Management Accountant - The Role:
- Reporting to and working closely with the Group Financial Controller to deliver an effective finance function, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Preparing monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
- Financial reporting, planning and performance analysis.
- Supervising and developing a small team.
- Leading month end processes and ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Supporting the preparation and review of regulatory and compliance and VAT returns.
- Year-end financial statements production and managing the audit process.
- Budgeting and forecasting, supporting long-term financial planning cycles.
- Ensuring strong financial control and compliance while driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
- Identifying risks and opportunities to drive cost control.
- Identifying potential issues, developing and implementing solutions.
- Business partnering stakeholders across the business, providing support and improving financial management.
