Purchasing Assistant – The Role A competent Purchasing Assistant is needed to join an established SME business at their Heathfield office. Working as part of a small friendly team and you will be required to support the Procurement Lead in purchasing and sourcing both goods and services in line with business needs and work alongside the highly professional team to achieve the company’s strategic vision and targets. Purchasing Assistant – The Person: Have 3 years’ experience of working in an administrative role. Well organised and with an eye for detail. Experienced in following/maintaining administrative processes. Attention to detail and good task prioritization skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Purchasing Assistant – The Benefits : The role is Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break, and includes the following benefits: • Basic annual salary of £27,000 per annum. • Discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%. • Holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum + bank holidays. • Company pension scheme (5% employee contribution, 3% employer contribution). • Life Assurance scheme (3 x annual salary for death in service). • Access to the BeSupported AXA Employee Assistance Programme.
