The Role:

  • You will be working as part of a small payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Manager.
  • Responsible for all aspects of processing payrolls for hourly paid and salaried staff on multiple payrolls.
  • Checking timesheets and variable pay are accurate, liaising with line managers with any queries.
  • Timely processing of all payroll payments, including PAYE, Pension and NICs.
  • Updating payroll information including starters, leavers, tax code notices, SSP, attachment of earnings, etc.
  • Undertaking Employer Payment Submissions to HMRC and processing payment.
  • Responding to payroll queries or issues promptly.
  • Submitting pension information, including processing opt-out requests, voluntary contributions, etc.
  • Running of monthly payroll reports.
  • Checking expense claims, including validation and payment of claims.
  • Supporting payroll and compliance, ensuring processes are followed.
