Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast paced growing business near Okehampton. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of accounting projects and supporting with monthly duties:
- Project work including fixed asset project, capital expenditure projects, systems and process improvements.
- Supporting monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and income reconciliations.
- Investigating and resolving accounts discrepancies.
- Posting accounting journals and maintaining supporting schedules.
- Assisting with management of cashflow, budget/forecast analysis and sales analysis.
- Supporting with group reporting requirements.
Salary: 38,000 - 40,000pa + great benefits and progression
Location: On site role with parking
Hours: Full time, Mon - Fri, 8:30am 5pm, some flexibility on start and finish.
Start Date: ASAP
Please note employment will be offered on a 12month contract initially with strong potential for the role to become permanent.
The successful candidate will have a proactive, friendly personality and enjoy being in a busy, varied role.
Recent accounts experience including undertaking project based work and management accounting is essential.
