We’re seeking an Accounts Manager to join a super accountancy practice with a reputation for providing high-quality services to a wide range of clients. The team is dedicated to supporting businesses of all sizes, and they pride themselves on a collaborative and inclusive work culture. As part of ongoing expansion, we are looking for an Accounts Manager to manage and develop a small, talented group of professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial reporting in line with UK accounting standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice to support their business growth.
- Manage client expectations, ensuring deadlines are met, and high standards of service are consistently maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with recent experience in a UK accountancy practice, applications welcome from individuals with relevant experience but qualified by experience.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a small team.
- A solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A passion for professional growth, learning, and delivering exceptional service.
