You'll enjoy a broad and varied in-house role, working closely with stakeholders across the business and providing commercially focused legal advice that directly supports the organisation's strategic objectives and member services. As part of a small, high-performing legal team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of matters from instruction through to completion, whilst gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial, operational and customer-facing legal issues. In-House Commercial Solicitor - The Role: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts. Managing the legal aspects of third-party risk management activities. Advising on legal issues affecting individual customers, SME clients and corporate policyholders. Supporting the development of customer communications, contractual terms and policy documentation. Assisting with strategic projects, business initiatives and product development. Working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel across a broad range of legal matters. Taking ownership of legal matters and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions. In-house Commercial Solicitor - About You: Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience gained within private practice, in-house, or a combination of both. The ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision. Strong commercial awareness and sound legal judgement. Experience within sectors such as healthcare, insurance, financial services, procurement, supplier arrangements or data protection would be advantageous, but is not essential.
