Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Site Operations Manager with one of our longstanding clients. This is a new position due to business growth and the post holder will become a central part of the business, helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Site Operations Manager – The Role:

This is a hands-on, highly varied operational role at the heart of the business. You’ll work closely with senior management and teams across operations, purchasing, production, stores, accounts and customer service — acting as the key link that keeps everything aligned, on track and moving forward.

  • Coordinating daily activities across operations, purchasing, production, stores, accounts and management
  • Driving operational progress, monitoring WIP, and ensuring projects, actions and customer deliveries stay on schedule
  • Supporting planning, scheduling and prioritisation across the business
  • Following up quotations and maintaining communication with customers where required
  • Overseeing aspects of the ERP system and ensuring data accuracy
  • Providing operational administration and business support to the Head of Business Unit
  • Managing office systems, processes and procedures to maintain smooth day-to-day operations
  • Working closely with Procurement, Accounts and Data teams, providing support and cover where needed
  • Offering broad operational and office management support within a hands-on engineering environment

Salary: Up to £45,000pa

Benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, bonus, pension, life assurance, wellbeing package.

Location: Newton Abbot

Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5pm

Site Operations Manager – Requirements:

  • Experienced in operations, office management or business coordination gained within engineering or manufacturing
  • Highly organised, structured and detail-focused
  • Confident communicating with colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
  • Commercially aware and systems-focused
  • Proactive, hands-on and motivated to keep things moving
  • IT literate with experience of ERP systems
