ISC group

We have a lovely Early Years team at our School and we would like to add another dedicated Nursery Assistant to the team.

This role offers the chance to contribute to a caring, child centred environment where curiosity, play, and early learning are at the heart of each day. If you are someone who thrives in a supportive team and enjoys helping young children grow with confidence, we would love to hear from you. The role involves helping to create a safe, stimulating space where children feel confident, curious, and valued. You will assist with daily routines, contribute to engaging learning activities, and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A genuine love of working with young children and a commitment to high‑quality early years practice are essential.

The successful candidate will be a positive, collaborative team member with strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for Early Years education. A Level 3 childcare qualification is essential, and we are looking for someone who can bring both confidence and warmth to the role. Experience in an Early Years setting is desirable, and a proactive, child centred approach will be highly valued.

The Marist School employs around 120 members of staff, and we are proud to be a diverse community that fosters a family spirit. The School is a leading independent Catholic day school for girls aged 2 to 18 and boys aged 2 to 7. We have a values-led culture within a calm setting rooted in kindness, service, and a strong moral code, through which we deliver exceptional academic fire power.

At The Marist, our girls reach for the stars, but with their feet firmly on the ground. Rooted in humility and quiet confidence, pupils are supported by high-calibre staff who provide academic challenge, develop each girl’s unique strengths, and prepare them to be anything they choose - trailblazers, changemakers, and good citizens.
