Wycombe Abbey seeks an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Sports Centre Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operation of the School’s Sports Centre. This varied role contributes to the smooth running of facilities, supporting pupils, staff and external users while ensuring a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained environment.
Reports to: Sports Centre Manager.
Contract: Permanent. First three months probationary.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift rota including evenings and weekends. A half‑hour unpaid lunch break is included each shift.
As Sports Centre Assistant you will:
- Prepare and maintain facilities.
- Set up equipment for activities and events.
- Provide a professional front‑of‑house service.
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Interact regularly with pupils, staff and visitors to contribute to a positive experience.
