We are looking for a reliable, proactive and hardworking Evening Caretaker to help keep our LGS Stoneygate safe, secure and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. This varied hands-on role includes daily patrol of the school crossing at the end of the day to ensure pupils leave site safely, alongside supporting the overall security, presentation and smooth running of the school sites.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out routine site checks
  • Assisting with minor maintenance and repairs
  • Preparing rooms and facilities for activities
  • Supporting health and safety procedures
  • Helping maintain clean, tidy and well-kept grounds and buildings

The successful candidate will be practical, dependable and able to work independently with a professional and courteous approach. A good awareness of health and safety, security and safeguarding is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 8:00pm, 35 weeks per year (term-time, plus one week).
