We need qualified Lifeguards on a casual basis to help with lifeguarding and other duties in our modern sports centre and swimming pool. Leicester Grammar School Sports Centre is based in the grounds of Leicester Grammar School. It is a dual-use centre, which means that the school pupils use the facilities during school hours and the wider community can use the facilities in the evenings, weekends and school holidays.
There are a range of shifts available, to be worked both during the week and at weekends. These are to cover our pool opening hours which are 8.00am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 6.00pm at weekends. If you hold a lifeguard qualification and have some time available during the week or at weekends, we would like to hear from you. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
Lifeguard Requirements- Demonstrate exceptional time management.
- Be a part of a motivated and diverse team fully embracing our Trust values.
- Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within the centre and the day to day tasks are complete and up to date.
- Be attentive and thorough in your work and able to carry out lifeguard duties in line with training.
- You must also hold an in-date NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).
