Tonbridge School is a leading institution in the education sector, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the School’s operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead and provide strategic direction across the operational functions of both Tonbridge School and The New Beacon. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Director will have overall responsibility for facilities management, domestic services, transport, safety, security and catering. They will oversee the optimisation of resources, drive operational efficiencies, and implement best practices to enhance service delivery. This is a key leadership role that will act to improve services and enable the effective operational integration of the two schools. The role requires strong working relationships with staff at every level of the organisation, as well as suppliers, advisers and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in operations management and exceptional customer service, capable of delivering innovative and effective solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
