We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative with a passion for making a difference to others. You will be working full time, 40 hours a week as a Maintenance Operative, based at Hawkstone, Monday to Friday 9-5, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. You must have a valid full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service.
- Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting and general building work.
- Maintain plant, services & vehicles in working order.
- Comply with safe working practices and report faulty equipment and potential hazards.
- Travel to other sites as required.
- Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices & fire emergency lights.
- Experience in all types of painting and decorating in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Willingness to travel and hold a full valid driving licence.
- Ability to communicate at all levels and record detailed, accurate maintenance information.
- Skilled at DIY & general maintenance.
- Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Painting & Decorating/Maintenance.
- Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Benefits- Salary: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour after three months, rising to £13.70 per hour after 18 months.
