Helping others improve and turn their lives around – there’s no better feeling. We are looking for a confident Bank Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare. Bank shifts (12 hour shifts) at Yorkshire Supported Living Leeds – Gotts Park, supporting a service that empowers individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours to live more independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all people in care.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
  • Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment.
  • Support service users to access the community, attend work, college, hobbies and activities, days out and holidays.
  • Support the service users to grow, develop and learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £13.00 per hour plus 12.1% annual leave allowance (£14.57 per hour equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
