About the Role
Helping others improve and turn their lives around is what we do for thousands of people at more than 150 sites across the UK. We’re looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare to support residents at Norcott House, a specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs located in the suburbs of Liversedge, West Yorkshire.
Working Hours & Schedule
Full time, 42 hours a week on a 12‑hour shift rota that includes alternate weekends (four shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two‑week rolling rota). The role can be days only.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
- Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all
- Support service users to access the community, attend work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays
- Support the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning

Benefits & Salary
Salary: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour after three months (£29,435.70 first year) and to £13.70 per hour after 18 months.
